Avow Hospice was awarded a 2012 Excellence in Industry Award for Civic Responsibility from The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. The Civic Responsibility Award is designed to recognize an organization or institute that has enhanced the community through financial, volunteer and active involvement in organization utilizing programs that assist in creating a better quality of life for all citizens ofCollierCounty.

The award was accepted by Avow Hospice President and CEO Karen A. Rollins at the Chamber’s Awards Luncheon held on September 20, 2012. During the program Avow was acknowledged for providing a variety of supportive community programs including bereavement programs, caregiver workshops, children’s in-school grief workshops, the PIC program, Remembering memorial services in Naples and Marco, El Dia de los Muertos in Immokalee, the Butterfly Release in Cambier Park and more
