Make a red ribbon promise to drive responsibly! To help promote safe driving during the holidays, Avow Hospice and the Collier County Sheriffl’s office are co-sponsoring the “Red Ribbon Promise Campaign.”
The program is designed to encourage everyone to place special emphasis on the importance of drinking responsibly and driving safely during the holidays.
The Red Ribbon Promise program seeks to inspire community members to promise not to drive while impaired and to plan on a designated driver or to call a cab if you plan to drink while celebrating the holidays.
To show your “promise,” individuals are invited to tie a red ribbon to your car. Red ribbions are available at the administration office at Avow Hospice or at any Collier County Sheriff’s substation location.
This special awareness program launched on Friday, November 25 and will run through January 2, 2012.
