Honor and Memorial Gifts

A gift to Avow Hospice in honor or memory of a loved one is a meaningful tribute for any occasion. Many people make tax deductible annual contributions to Avow Hospice because they know that every gift we receive enhances the care we are able to give our patients and their families.

When you make a gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, you will receive a thank-you letter. We also send a personalized letter to the family member(s) to notify them that we have received a gift in memory of their loved one or in his/her honor. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed.

Obituary Notices
Often, families want to find a special way to thank us for the services we provide. When arrangements are made with the funeral home and the newspaper, the wording most often used is “the family asks that memorial gifts in lieu of flowers be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane Naples, FL 34105 or at www.avowhospice.org

Memorial Tributes

Engraved Brickes – The Royal Palm Memorial Courtyard and Kate’s Garden, located at the main offices of Avow Hospice, is a place of peace and tranquility. The floor of the courtyard is lined with bricks which have inscriptions paying tribute to people who are held close to someone’s heart. The Courtyard is open for visits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Placing a brick in the Memorial Courtyard is a wonderful way to remember loved ones, honor friends or commemorate special occasions or a milestone in your life. Each brick measures 8″ x 4″ and can be engraved with your loved one’s name or a special message.

Bricks are available for a tax deductible donation.

Other Commemorative Options – In addition to memorial bricks, we offer specially designed stone benches and personalized plaques for tree dedications.

Pet Memorial Tributes

In honor of pets, we have created a Pet Rainbow Garden so pet owners can commemorate those pets who have played such an important role in their lives. Each brick measures 8″ x 4″ and can be engraved with your pet’s name or a special message.

Memorial Tribute Dedication Ceremonies

At least once per year, individuals who have purchased a memorial tribute item are invited to attend a Dedication Ceremony held in the Royal Palm Memorial Courtyard. At the ceremony, new bricks, benches & tree plaques are dedicated and a special program is conducted to honor loved ones being commemorated.
