Grief Support Groups

Family and friends are invited to participate in counselor-led support groups offered every week. Some participants come simply to listen; others feel comfortable sharing thoughts and feelings. Support groups are offered:

IN NAPLES:
Avow Hospice – Ispiri community center

Every Tuesday
6:00 – 7:30 PM

Every Wednesday
1:30 – 3:00 PM

ON MARCO ISLAND:
Avow Hospice Marco Island Office
656 Bald Eagle Dr., Suite B, Marco Island

Second (2nd) Thursday of each month
10:00 – 11:30 AM

We can offer brief private counseling to those who need an extra helping hand in coping with their loss. Our counselors assist families in crisis and help identify resources in the community for longer-term, one-on-one assistance.

We also have on staff experts in children’s bereavement who can work with children and their parents to understand the special effects of grief and loss on the young.
